October, 2006 Turner is the Program Manager for Dar Al-Arkan, a leading real estate development company; Turner’s role is to manage the Client’s projects across Saudi Arabia and to develop his organization and management procedures. The PM Core Team is the team responsible for the management of the pre-construction stages of the projects and the development of the Client’s management procedures, in addition to overseeing the construction of the projects, which is directly managed by separate site teams. I joined Turner as Senior PMCS Engineer in the Core Team responsible for the master planning of the overall program; however in the absence of a PMCS Manager, I undertook a major part of his responsibilities including claims, procedures, management plans, control forms, and contractors & consultants technical evaluation. Following are my main responsibilities and tasks:
• Prepare and maintain the update of the Overall Program Master Schedule.
• Prepare the Executive Monthly Report to the Client.
• Study and analyze cost/time variations and claims from contractors and consultants and maintain the Changes & Variations Log.
• Prepare and update the Overall Program Cash Flow.
• Issue RFP’s to consultants, review proposals, carry out the technical evaluation, and finalize and submit the recommendation report to the Client.
• Prepare control forms and communication charts for both the core team and the projects.
• Participate in the preparation of the Project Management Plan for the Core Team and the projects.
• Prepare Professional Presentations to be presented to the Client’s potential allies and partners.
• Develop the Document Control System and follow up its implementation by document controllers.
