Japan Gas Co. Corporation (JGC-Japan) Planner
START Date:
August, 2001 Update weekly progress control sheets and monitored/leveled the manpower on various disciplines. Prepare for progress of various pre-commissioning systems and activities. Check and update database link to SPR for overall piping progress and Plots 3D drawings (SPR) for system-wise pre-commissioning lines and critical activities (lines) as well. Developing and implementing the plans & schedules for crafts, manpower allocation and vendor schedules. I am responsible for collecting data and processing it according to use, revised drawings and information for creating control sheets and breakdown according to Work Package (Project Control Work Breakdown Structure & Functional Work Breakdown Structure).
I scheduled and planned for fabrication and coordinated deliveries for steel structures, reactors, vessels, drums, tanks, piping, valves and fittings just in time to meet heavy lift scheduled dates. I keep the management team aware of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that equipment, materials and services are on site as needed. I scheduled equipment and personnel (Manpower Leveling) as needed, verified material supply demands, prepared work orders or purchase of device or parts based on a master production schedule and inventory requirements. I coordinated and interfaced with quality assurance, production, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, contracts administration, etc.
Update Progress and Jobsite Monitoring
Had a weekly check on the site progress, monitored and update weekly Fabrication and Receiving Status thru Material Control Section (MCS) and Material Status Report (MSR). I prepared 3 Weeks Lookahead schedules and Priority selective schedules which are needed for Area managers.
Constructed color coded progress maps using MicroStation in making more meaningful reports and graphs. Made 3D illustration/reports of progress status for special structures such as Cracking Furnace, Reactor Steel Structures, Surface Condenser and so forth. Models were taken from Smart Plant Review (SPR) and import to 4DCAD system for manipulation and modification, as well as piping line checks and status were check in 3D (SPR).
Update Monthly Presentation
Prepared monthly presentation, at the last weekend of every month, showing summary of progress, maps and charts using MS PowerPoint.
