Project
•The extension, replacement and refurbishment of the East London Line, transforming the line into a major artery in the London rail transport network.

•Duties and Responsibilities
•(April 2008 – December 2008) Liaised with 3 Project Managers and 15 engineers within 3 project teams, responsible for a large number of varied and challenging structures; four bridge replacements, six fire escape constructions, one rail junction development, one major retaining wall strengthening, two pipe strengthening constructions, the fire hydrant and station fire system installation, the station cable management system installation and two lift replacements.
•(January 2009 – Current) Liaised with 2 Project Managers and 10 engineers within 2 project teams, responsible for 5 full station refurbishments. Each station refurbishment project required varying levels of building construction, full station fit-out and M&E installation, each with complex interfaces between many subcontractors.
•Created and managed project plans (P5), and reported progress on a weekly basis, mitigating the programmes, with the project teams, when required.
•Constant monitoring and proactive planning of the complex project with a large number of interfaces.
•Responsible for managing a large number of engineers forecasts on a weekly basis for collation into a project-wide weekly ‘lookahead’.
•Critical Path Analysis – assessed programme impacts, outlining areas of concern to the project teams, for proactive planning.
•Developed and maintained KPI’s to build a realistic picture of project progress to report to Project Team.
•Assessed and analysed Impact of Change on Programme.
