Basic Training as Marine Engineering Mechanic on Surface ships, Floating Docks, Dockyard Maintenance Teams and Nuclear Submarines.

Qualified on all types of machinery from Air Compressors, Diesel Generators, Hydraulic Systems, Sea Water Services and Oil Systems. Many more too numerous to list.

Finally qualified as Unit Watchkeeper onboard HMS Revenge taking charge of 2 Main Steam Turbines and Auxiliiary Equipment.

Qualifications to ONC level.
