Concrete Pinning - During underpinning operations a cycle of every 4th or 5th pin being constructed concurrently is adopted.

  • Rate of 1.2 m/day, i.e. 1 number support pin per day

Brickwork Pinning - Done with Class B Engineering Bricks

  • 1 brick thick wall 0.40 m2/hr
  • 1.5 brick wall 0.28 m2/hr
  • 2 brick wall 0.22 m2/hr

Wedge & Pinning Method - Permanent wedges to underside of existing foundations.

  • 102 mm wall 0.83 m/hr
  • 215 mm wall 0.68 m/hr
  • 317 mm wall 0.58 m/hr
