Construction Project Planner / Senior Planner, Urbacon Trading and Contracting, -High Ends Residential/Condominiums Building Project

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·   Plan and schedule the project by developing a project master schedule in line with the proposal requirements through the application of the primavera P6 software.

·   Identify the project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks and targets to determine the resourcing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project.

·   Perform statistical analysis to identify schedule variances of project status against schedule baseline using EVMs and calculate Schedule Performance Index (SPI).

·   Implement the work schedule and monitor progress of the work for timely execution of the project through daily/weekly/monthly/ reports with respect to review of the overall project. 

·   Anticipate and resolve any problems, bottlenecks/scheduling conflicts. Prepare and maintain package work plans and monitor progress to achieve on time or earlier deliveries to keep the project on schedule.

·    Co‐ordinate internal project team reviews followed by an approval and review by the consultant/client of the work schedule, progress measurement and reporting systems.

·   Review status reports, modify schedules and plans as required and keep the management and Project director apprised of the progress on a regular basis.

·    Ensure that project controls documents such as resources histogram, schedules, reporting systems, material controls systems, etc. are fully developed by the designated personnel and reviewed by Construction Management and that Engineering and Procurement interfaces are properly addressed.

·    Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when directed by the Supervisor.

·   Develop and implement plan versus actual progress charts (histograms/S curves).

·   Track, monitor and forecast progress of all activities and deliverable such as products, engineering documents, fabrication status and construction of all discipline.

·   Analyze gaps between the planned and actual progress and highlight the areas of concern which required action of the associate task member.

·   Perform probabilistic analysis of completion dates and potential alternatives.

·   Prepare and update three weeks and three months look-ahead schedule that reflect the priority activities.

·   Liaises with all team leaders and/or members to communicate required completion dates and interface between functional team/operational team and project team.

·   Participate all meeting ( i.e. schedule/progress meeting, coordination meeting).
