Project Controls Manager (June 2014 – Present)

 

Work coverage for Middle East and Africa projects under Project Controls Director.

 

Main Responsibilities include:

- Provide management oversight and development of a regional project controls team including the planning and schedule functions on Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects.

- Professionally supervise and train junior schedulers, project and other technical staff.

- Liaise with clients and senior leaders to ensure business objectives are met.

- Coordinate with project controls team, project manager and project team to ensure the correct utilization of the project control system based on project specific requirements and corporate guidelines.

- Contribute to Project Execution Plan development on all project opportunities within region.

- Develop Schedule Basis Memorandum and the scheduling premise on all projects being proposed upon and/or baseline scheduled in region.

- Responsible to assure project updates, monthly progress reports, schedule forecasts and updates with impact of changes occur per regular periodic reporting standards and are viable.

- Ensure that project completion dates are met and that the project team is developing look ahead and recovery schedules.

- Facilitate the risk mitigation and contingency planning process.

- Prepare schedule analyses in support of REA submissions as needed.

- Provide input to program and/or project status reporting as needed
