Director of Scheduling, Quandel Enterprises, Construction Multi Projects

START Date:
November, 2003

In my role as Director of Scheduling at Quandel Enterprises, Inc. I am responsible for approximately 35 project schedules. Their locations range between 3 and 500 miles from where I am located in our main office. I am hands on with some projects and supervise 2 schedulers for others. All of the schedules are developed using the Critical Path Method.  Primavera is our scheduling software of choice. For GC and CM at Risk jobs, I will work with the project team to develop the approved baseline schedule. For CM Agency projects, I will coach the responsible party to develop an acceptable baseline. My team and I update each schedule on a monthly basis, more frequently if necessary. Out of sequence work is analyzed and corrected if necessary. A detailed analysis is performed. The results and recommendations are communicated to upper management. Documenting delays and their impacts is also part of my duties. I've worked my way up from a part time scheduler to running the department.
