I was a Part Time Professor (now Emeritus) in the Civil Engineering College at Universidad de Carabobo, Valencia, Venezuela, where I was Head of the Structural Engineering Department for about three years. I taught Strenght of Materials, Construction Materials and Construction Management at the undergraduate level.

In those years I was founder of the Construction Management Master Program, being Head of the Program for more than fourteen years since its foundation (1992) through 2007. I gave lectures in Introduction to Quantitative Analysis, Operations Resaerch and Construction Cost Management.
