               Detailed Job Description:

               Site Manager

               Helmand / Sayar, Afghanistan (Camp Bastion, Leatherneck, Dwyer and Farah)

 

               Office / Field Works:

Ø   Responsible in over-all progress of the project in accordance with the proper implementation of latest drawings and specifications.

Ø  Ensures the project attains deadlines as per client requirements without sacrificing the company’s objective.

Ø   Supervise and monitor the sub-contractor in maintaining the quality of works performed as per current plans and specifications.

Ø  Responsible in material take-offs for purchasing and tender purposes with the right specifications reflected in the plan.

Ø  Scheduling of work with the aide of  MS PROJECT SOFTWARE for tender purposes and monitoring the progress of the works in actual vs. projective in consideration of the cost.

Ø  Supervise and monitor all developments on site (Re-bars, Concreting, Formworks and Finishing Works) in accordance of the architectural and structural plan.

Ø  Integral part in designing and scheduling of proposed works in pre-construction phase.

Ø  Prepares  and  develop  the  as  built  plans  of  the  whole  project  in  coordination  with  the  project  architect  and  the construction group.

Ø  Ensures that the  fabrication, assembly and erection of  frame master buildings are according to the specifications and right procedures as per current drawings/plans.

Ø  Ensures that the project is strictly following safe procedures in coordination with the safety engineers.

Coordinates regularly to the Purchasing Department about the progress of delivery of materials
