Currently Construction Planner for Balfour Beatty Rail (track partnership project)

Job Summary: Working closely with the delivery team of each individual weekend possession (both Drainage and Ballast and Track renewals). By collating and studying all their current information on the specific job, I have the ability to challenge the logistics of the work and summarise the job in a detailed P6 (Primavera) programme. I run a meaningful QSRA on the programme I have created and with the results I am able to give the project and delivery managers confidence that the weekends have a 90% probability that the job will meet its hand back time. I work weekends on site updating the programme and reporting (hourly) the progress of the job.

 

Skills & Achievements:

  • LUCAS card, Track accustoms and SHEQ induction (safety) all Complete and up to date.
  • Successfully completed a Primavera P6 professional fundamentals Training class at Oracle University.
  • Achieved 3 A Levels + GCSE’s above C grade.
  • A good understanding of London underground requirements and restrictions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Consistently organised and up to date, achieving dead lines.
  • Excellent use of Excel, P6 Primavera and Microsoft project.
  • Good understanding of Track renewals (trains, machines, equipment, resource, sequence of working)
  • Able to adapt easily into any work environment that demands similar prospects and guarantee my commitment and pro-active attitude.
