<em>Frank Parth, MS, MSSM, MBA, PMP</em> is the President of Project Auditors LLC and have 35 years experience in project and program management. I had my first career in the aerospace industry, ending as the assistant technical director in the Integration Offices of a $12 billion satellite program for the USAF.

In 1993 I began consulting in program management and systems engineering while teaching at USC’s Graduate School. I was a CTO for a small but highly successful Internet e-commerce company; headed up systems engineering at TRW Information Systems during a major infrastructure upgrade; and created PMOs for several Fortune 1000 companies. I supported the Majid al Futaim Group (UAE) in managing and auditing construction projects and supported Saudi Aramco in the development of a new $10B greenfield oil refinery in the Jubail Industrial District. I've consulted to clients in multiple industry sectors, including telecom, construction, high tech, chemical processing, utilities, government, aerospace, healthcare, mining, the consulting industry, financial services, and aerospace. Other engagements have included auditing both construction and IT projects, setting up effective project management practices, and managing projects.

I teach project management courses throughout the world. He is a guest lecturer at USC’s Marshall School of Business and at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) in the UAE. I've taught project management and systems engineering at the University of California, Irvine since 1994 and helped create UCI’s Project Management Certificate Program and in developing the Business Analyst and the Systems Analyst Certificate Programs. In 2003, UCI recognized me with an Outstanding Service Award. In 2009 I received PMI’s Distinguished Contribution Award.

I have undergraduate and graduate degrees in physics, a Masters in Systems Management from USC, and an MBA from the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School. I co-authored Introduction to IT Project Management with Cyndi Snyder, contributed to other books in project management and have published numerous papers in project management and systems engineering. I'm actively involved with PMI, serving on local and national committees and was PMI’s Project Manager for the Standard for Program Management, 2nd edition published in 2008. I m currently writing a book on Enterprise Portfolio Management. He was on PMI’s Board of Directors for 2010-2012.
