Group Project Coordinator

Coordinating projects of all branches, Witbank, Thabazimbi, Rustenburg and Richards bay.

Civil construction of sewage systems, oil and silt water separation, total water handling systems and large Civil projects.

Construction at Coal mines and Sasol mainly but also local counsels.

Attending onsite tender meetings .

Importing of BOQ into CCS.

Pre-planning for Estimation purposes.

Oversee the sending of RFQ’s for products and subcontractors by buying department .

Adjudication of Quotes received and compiling of preferred supplier list.

Using the prices, previous quotations database and preplanning, for duration and manpower, pricing the BOQ including P&G’s.

Updating and compiling of database on CCS.

Attendance of tender clarifying meetings, and reconfiguration of prices for scope or quantity changes.

Submission of priced BOQ to Client including a project plan exported from CCS into MS Projects.

Project plans for construction with CCS or MS Projects, working in conjunction with the Project Director, Project Manager, Site Manager and Project Supervisor.

Weekly  contact with all ongoing projects by direct visitation or site reports including Daily diary’s, reports from Site Managers and Supervisors.

Compiling of contingency and recovery plans when projects fall behind.

Compiling and presentation of weekly site specific task based plans.

Reporting weekly and monthly to the Project Director, project managers and Client on progress
