Researching and writing a book on application of "Lean Project Management" in Construction and other major industries. using Forensic Delay techniques at the commencement of a project, rather than when it is too late. As well as simplifying the need for the massive amounts of data currently required when using database driven PM software. Which should enable the cost of creating the Project Plans to be reduced.

Investigating the use of Integrated Program Delivery techniques, which are very similar to Collaborative Working Arrangements for better delivery outcomes for major complex projects, to assist in driving down the all too common repetitive data entry using Oracle or SAP or similar integrated corporate systems.

Will be carrying out approximately 200 surveys and interviews of relevant parties, i.e. PM's PD's, Planners and schedulers, Contract Admin, Cost Controls in the development of Project Plans over the next two months or so.

The intention is to add capability to PM software to provide these techniques in a quick and simple way.
