Key Duties

  • Management andproductionleadershipforwork packages withinvariousprojects.
  • Reviewing contractor deliverables and answering to design and construction contractor queries on site.
  • Participating in technical meetings, project meetings anddevelopment of project report
  • Coordinating/communicating various issues that affect the project engineering design, safety, and regulatory compliance of the work.

  • Ensuring that the technical definition of the package is in compliance with the contract scope and with company rules, standards and specifications.

  • Evaluating / commenting on work performed by sub-contractors to insure that the work is being executed in accordance with project specifications.
  • Ensuring  the delivery of the technical documents respects the schedule and quality for procurement, supply, construction, pre-com / com, operation activities, spare parts and maintenance.
  • Organizing and participating in kick-off meetings and other meetings with clients/subcontractors to ensure common understanding of engineering requirements, including deliverables.
  • Following up on inspections and tests carried out by suppliers and subcontractorss.
  • Interfacing with other departments which includes surveying, safety, geotechnical and enviromentalists in meeting set targets.
  • Liaising and rendering support to client representative during pre-commissioning and commissioning phase.

·          Development of project schedules, activity networks and work breakdown structures.

·      Routine site inspections with project engineers and accompanying quantity surveyors for locating, negotiating and acquiring suitable site/land for collecting sand fill materials.

·      Attending training on health and safety and contractor/employee relationship & management.

·      Carrying out concrete tests and soil compaction test in the laboratory and on sites.

·      Designing concrete slabs and beams for various site locations, site / industrial training report.

·      Working with land surveyors in taking survey levels of drains and highway ways for various oil field construction site locations.

·      Working with the project team to carry out routine monitoring and co-coordinating construction activities on site.

·      Involved in the preparation, documentation and implementation of construction designs and drawings.
