Regimental Communications Officer, British Army, Communications Systems
In Iraq I was a key advisor to the Commanding Officer on all ground and terrain impacts on the movement of material and personnel. As a key member of the brigade planning staff there were significant time and resource constraints throughout the decision making and planning process. Asthe qualified military diving officer I coordinated the planning and execution of the removal of steel pipes from the Euphrates River including all health and safety and liaison responsibilties to ensure its successful completion. I also developed terrain analysis interpretation in relation to explosive strikes against British Forces.
My secondary role was project managing the implementation of a digitisedcommunication system across approximately 500 personnel and coordinated all the necessary training to facilitate its correct intergration and usage.
