Duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare all planning and programming works such as baseline schedule, cost loading, manpower and equipment resource loading, recovery programme, monthly update, weekly look ahead schedule. Updating program master schedule and perform critical path analysis.
  • Responsible for preparing all documents relating to planning, scheduling, progress measurement, productivity and provide top management the key performance indicator charts to overview progress and production.
  • Analyze drawings, specifications and statements of work in the preparation of activity networks for the project resource planning and scheduling.
  • Monitor engineering progress and material status reports against construction schedules and review them with engineering, procurement and construction groups. To monitor the progress of work against the baseline schedule and preparation of weekly and monthly client and management reports.
  • Analyze schedule and cost variance and prepare corrective action reports.
  • Liaise with the project and site personnel for schedule revisions and updates.
  • Identify critical path of the project and coordinate with the project managers, construction managers and discipline engineers to ensure that all activities falling on the critical path are completed on time. Identify well in advance the bottlenecks in achieving the planned progress and to propose corrective action to recover or minimize the slippage.
