  • Planning full scope of Geotechnical Engineering projects, using Microsoft Project or Primavera software;
  • Updates primavera with all approved update project information and perform quality checks on logic and dependencies/constraints on the project activities;
  • Prepare Health, Safety and Environment Plan for Proposed Geotechnical Engineering Projects;
  • Conduct Slope Stability Analysis and Design remediation for unstable slopes, landslides for engineering projects, using OasysGeo or Geostudio 2007 Software;
  • Calculate  Bearing Capacity and Settlement for foundation design and Slope Stability Design/Assessment;
  • Review and update engineering drawing and mapping plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD Map 3D;
  • Review and update the project progress plans accordingly. Issued weekly progress report and histogram;
  • Responsible in the project site supervision and management of Geotechnical Site and Ground Investigation (Borehole Drilling, Logging and Monitoring, Soil/Rock Sampling and Testing, Groundwater Monitoring and Earthwork Construction) for Project design, using British Standard BS 5930 “Code of Practice for site Investigation” and BS 1377 “Method of test for soil for Civil Engineering purpose”;
  • Responsible in Technical Report Writing (Desk Study, Geotechnical and Environmental Interpretative Reports) for the senior Geotechnical Engineer to review;
  • Responsible in the scheduling of Geotechnical and Environmental lab testing and interpretation;
  • Responsible in identifying project risks associated with allocated engineering task, ensuring that they are mitigated reasonably, and updates the risk register;
  • Assist the Environmental team in carrying out Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Review for various project and write reports;
  • Ensure project designs, reports and other engineering tasks are in accordance with the given contract, scope of work, agreed specification standards, safety policies and in line with best engineering practice.

Assist in managing project from conception, pre-production through completion and oversee the maintenance of project after completion
