Projects:
- Sea Water Reverse Osmosis Plant (SWRO Plant)
Contract value: 210 Million QR.
The SWROP is 35,000 m3 per day that will be used for District Cooling Plant, Irrigation, and for supply of potable water suitable for drinking. The SWRO project comprises of the main building plant and the Intake & Outfall sea water (onshore & offshore) piping works.
- Integrated District Cooling Plant
Contract value: 780 Million QR.
The Integrated District Cooling Plant is the largest District Cooling Plant all over the world which produces 130,000 TR Chilled Water comprises 52 Centrifugal Chillers of open water electric derive – 52 constant flow primary pumps of the split-case centrifugal type – 26 Cooling Towers field erected and mounted on concrete water basins, 170 MW substation, transformers 66/11/3.3/415 KV – Motor Control Center – High Voltage Motors, Control & Communication Features, Advanced Scada system, Fiber Optic network, etc.
- Chilled Water Network for the Pearl Island
Contract value: 170 Million QR.
The project comprises of 42,800 m of pre-insulated Carbon Steel pipes, 226,900 m HDPE pipes, along with all relevant fittings, valves, chambers, and accessories. The execution of the network is divided into 4 phases.
- Chilled Water to the Lagoon Plaza
Contract value: 31 Million QR.
The project consists of 2 packages which are Road package, and Building Package. The road package comprises the entire chilled water network between the Lagoon Plaza Mall & Towers, and the IDCP at the Pearl Qatar project. The Building Package comprises all Plate Heat Exchangers.
- Underground Piping Works form VC to ETS’s for Porto ArabiaContract value: 20 Million QR.
The project comprises of chilled water network including all relevant fittings, valves, chambers, and accessories that are needed to connect Porto Arabia ETS’s to the main network.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Participate in the preparation of Contract Documents.
- Participate in the Tender evaluation.
- Responsible of the Contracts administration.
- Preparation of all cost reports.
- Preparation of Monthly Payments for all Contractors.
- Reviewing and commenting the time schedules for the projects.
- Preparing the regular updates for the programme of works.
- Comparing the current status with the base line and expecting the new end dates for the project, based on the critical path.
- Preparing the look ahead schedules (monthly – biweekly), and follow up with the actual progress.
- Preparing the Monthly Reports.
- Evaluate and process all Variation Orders.
- Evaluate and negotiate Contractors’ claims and disputes.
