Engineer (Assistant Project Manager), Faber Maunsell AECOM, London Underground, Cooling the Tube Programme (CTP), Base Data Collection Project

Production of Base Data Packages for CTP Designers to produce cooling solutions for 40 stations on the Northern, Jubilee and Victoria Lines. The information gathered was suitable for the design to be taken from Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) B to RIBA C Design Levels.

Roles undertaken:
Assistant Project Manager - Tasks included: setting up of project and maintenance of an electronic Project Management Plan, production of a Project Quality Plan including overall and activity specific process diagrams, Organisation Chart, contacts lists. Progress reporting, Client Meetings. Initial assessment of surveys required to validate CAD models. Liaising with CAD and survey teams. Authorising issue of Base Data Packages.

Base Data Collection Team Manager - for 7No. Engineers acquiring drawings from LUL archives (CEDMS/ Altris) to inform Base Data packages. Tasks included: Determining methods of retrieval and setting up auditable processes. Training of project staff in these processes. Monitoring and reporting on progress.
