Worked as "Planning Engineer – Project" with "Engineering Office" (The private office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum - Ruler of Dubai).

Project Completed: Bluewaters Development Hospitality Project.
  • The Bluewater’s Family Hotel & Serviced Apartment 2 is a part of the overall Bluewater’s development in Dubai Marina.
  • Our scope included Execution of engineering, procurement & interior fit-out construction works consisting of 5 Star Family Hotel with 301 rooms with King / Twin / Junior Suites / 1 and 2 bedroom suites and Serviced Apartment 2 building with 119 nos. of 1bed, 2bed, 3bed and 4bedroom apartments.
  • Our scope also included Front of House public areas and Guest corridors works.
  • The main contractor involved was “Multiplex”, while the client involved was “Meraas” with project management consultant “Mirage Leisure & Development”.
  • The role involved but was not limited to preparing master plan for production, procurement and installation phase of the project using primavera P6.
  • Analyzing the drawings and establishing the scope requirements and defining steps to carry out the work to complete the project within specified budget.
  • Defining the milestones for different phases of the project for tracking progress against the same.
  • Reviewing the subcontractor’s programme and progress against the same.
  • Highlighting the slow work progress or variations in contractor’s programme.
  • Negotiating with subcontractors for additional work or variations assigned to them.
  • Monitoring the daily progress of the sites and project risk analysis and mitigation.
  • Keeping track of required workforce to finish the work as per schedule that includes Manpower Planning, resource allocation.
  • Preparation of histogram, monthly weekly reports and updating the progress.
  • Internal coordination between departments and also coordinating with client for different queries or issues that may arise.
