As project controls manager/lead planning engineer I am responsible for managing cost and time of all projects under the PMCM services.My role involves  :-

  • Directly assistance to the Program’s management in maintaining the overall Expansion and Development Programme
  • Developed weekly and monthly reports and dashboards showing design and construction progress, KPI metrics and trends.
  • Support the multi-faceted project team as the subject matter expert on cost management system and processes
  • Develop cost estimates for owner's scope and/or validate EPC contractor’s forecast estimate
  • Review and comment on RFP/RFQ proposals. Acted as liaison with other departments regarding contracting requirements and issues.
  • Review the cost reports for accuracy, compliance with good cost management practice; noting specific revisions and emergent issues
  • Support the program team in maintaining timely and effective change management processes, procedures and systems
  • Assist the Project Director with claims adjudication, specifically in regard to extension of time and prolongation.
  • Preparation of monthly progress reports that captures and communicates key progress and performance measures for PM and Client review
  • Support the program team in maintaining timely and effective change management processes, procedures and systems
  • Preparation of construction phasing plans in coordination with key stakeholders on a live airport. Preparation of project interactions/overlaps and interactions between all works at KKIA
  • Monitoring and advising PMs on schedule issues including the interference of works associated with other contractors/interfaces/operations
  • Preparation and managing risk register.
  • Preparation of Program work breakdown structure and development of master schedule.
  • Preparation of scheduling guidelines and specifications for program requirements.
  • Review of contractors’ payment applications and recommendations to the Employer.
  • To ensure that baseline schedules reflect the correct scope of work and to integrate project budget and schedule to forecast cash flow requirements.
  • Review/Analyse schedules from the subcontractors ensure comprehensiveness of project schedules and updates to reflect actual progress and ensure a logical sequence of the entire project works.
