 Programme / Project Planning Manager                           DVLA Swansea.

  • Produced and managed the Web-logic Transformation 7UP Development and implementation Master Programme schedule consisting of multiple DVLA, IBM Service Provider workstream and Third party plans to the value of £17m. These plans consisted of multiple integration and acceptance activities for: Requirements Analysis, Change Requests, Application design and delivery, deployment, Integration, User, Performance, Operational Testing and acceptance. 
  • The Programme schedule linked/consolidated all the workstream plans together using a Waterfall / Iterative process to meet the very tight business and priority time constraints. Project and process quality assurance review of DVLA and IBM Business Service provider reports, schedule progress, performance, variances, forecasts, evaluating risks, performing ”what-if” with the appropriate workstream managers and making improvement recommendation.
  • Carried out Change Request impact analysis on the overall Programme and Project plans, highlighted escalation actions required to bring the project back on track within the Time, Cost, Quality and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Produced multiple Stakeholders, Programme and Project Managers weekly/daily management progress and resource reports on the status of individual workstreams and the overall programme.
  • Facilitated Programme and Project planning work shops with Programme and Workstream managers, 3rd party Project Managers and Planners, as well as one-to-one individual hands on training using MSP, Excel, Visio, etc.
