 Achievements

  • Coordinated and Supervised a team of 8 planners to create and implement an involved Level 4 Interproject Relationship Programme consisting of 70 000 activities with a complex Work Breakdown Structure for Network Rail’s Railway Communications System Programme. 
  • Responsible for the Cost & Resource Loading for the Southern UK Regions portion of the £1.27 billion programme.
  • Shared responsibility for general project control spanning several projects within a large programme.
  • Lead a team of 4 planners to maintain and update as well as report on the Southern Region Programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintained and Updated P3e 5.0 Programme.
  • Ran Period End Schedule updates on a 4 weekly period.
  • Produced Resource analysis and variance reporting.
  • Report Actual Performance and Variance against Planned and Forecast outcomes. 
  • Highlight Key Milestone and Critical Path issues to members of the team, provided an assessment of the impact of such issues and recommend solutions to correct the position.
  • Other priorities:
    • Weekly meetings with sub-contractors; commissioning-team and various other departments.
    • Integrated P3e 5.0 programme from sub-contractors, monitored and audited contractor’s planning processes so that they complied with Network Rail procedure requirements.
    • Supported Project Managers to chieve contract deliverables and completion of project with timescales.
    • Input the planning issues into the project’s critical issues risk log.  Reviewed planning risks and monitored whether the risk register is updated accordingly.
    • Supported & Implemented Six Sigma Process Improvement Projects.
