Ali has over 14 years planning and programming experience, which includes a number of high profile blue chip clients with complex organisational structures and user interfaces. He has working experience in main contracting, construction management and consultancy. Experienced in construction, fit out, refurbishment and infrastructure.

I am currently working for EC Harris as Senior Planning Manager.  Previously I worked for Gardiner & Theobald Construction Management LLP and before this I worked for Woolf Ltd construction management arm of Capita Symonds. I started my career in contracting and engineering with Balfour Beatty Refurbishment & Construction Ltd 

Ali’s experiences and responsibilities include the over-viewing of a number of projects and providing direct client consultancy planning and programme management services.

He has extensive commercial awareness and effective communication skills to promote business internally and externally and to deal with client expectations and project team members.

Ali’s experience includes, programme management & project control processes; developing strategic, feasibility, master, integrated procurement & design programmes and processes. His expertise also include detailed construction programmes, interface & co-ordination management; tactical planning, site logistics, construction methodology plans and health & safety issues; opportunity, risk & mitigation plans; contribution to environmental impact assessments; progress monitoring and audit reporting; bid development; buildability & value engineering studies, analysis of consultant teams & contractor programmes; delay analysis and claims management; As-Build programmes and awareness of 4D modelling services. 

Ali is an excellent team player. He actively provides programming knowledge to his clients in their business success and project team members. As part of knowledge share development, Ali has created a programme & site logistics database for construction, refurbishment and fit out projects. He is responsible for training and development of planners in his team and planning resource management within UK.
