Mace International - Hamad International Airport - Qatar ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR July 2017 - Present SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER July 2015 – July 2017 PROJECT MANAGER November 2013 – July 2015 Simonn is a member of the Mace Qatar Leadership Team, the Qatar Business Development Team and MENA Mace CRM Workstream Team. Simonn was responsible for managing, supervising and guiding the overall delivery of the LPG Modifications, Video Imaging Flame Detection and Fire Pump House Enclosure Projects from design stage through to completion. He is currently overseeing the close out of the Staff Access Facility, Car Rental Facility, World Duty Free Facility and the Water Ingress Insurance Works. Simonn coordinates and conducts high level meetings and discussions with the Client and attends HIA Steering and Tender Committee meetings. Simonn also lead the two stage tendering process for the design of a Fire Station Training Facility, 11kV Network Updating & Endorsement and Airline Operations Facility Modifications. • Accountable for managing the delivery of critical projects at the HIA. Value approx. QAR 250 Million. • Liaising and corresponding with the Client at all levels and attending Steering and Tender Committees. • Liaising with Design Consultants and Main Contractor at all levels. • Management of the design team including solutions development. • Managing the tender process including preparation of tender documentation. • Implementing, evaluating and monitoring change control including monthly evaluations. • Management and monitoring of procurement. • Managing the Project team, Main Contractor and Design Consultants ensuring H&S and Quality standards are maintained. • Develop, monitor and measure activities against the project plan. • Review and approval of Health & Safety, Quality and Testing & Commissioning documentation. • Problem and dispute resolution and provide solutions/alternatives where necessary. • Plan, allocate and manage project management resources. • Identifying, allocating and resolving / escalating risks as necessary. • Monitoring project costs against the project budget. • Managing, implementing and overseeing subcontractors Quality & Inspection and Test Plans. • Prepare presentations/reports/updates for the Client, Steering Committee and Mace Senior Management. • Prepare and submit monthly reports on progress, budget, health & safety including mitigation strategies, to the Client. • Chair project review, coordination, commercial and risk review meetings. • Management of document control process.
