Chief Tasks Handled as Projects Control Systems Manager (PCS)

§  Time Management (Project Schedules, Claims Management, Earned Value Management) 

§  Cost Management (Budgets, Cash flow)

§  Change Management (Variations & Impact on time)

§  Risk Management (Risk Identifying, Risk Analysis & Risk Mitigation)

§  Management Reporting & Presentations

§  Document Management (work flows, processes and procedures)

§  Overall responsible for monitoring and direction of project control systems operations, maintenance, recording and reporting. 

The specific duties would include:

§  Directly responsible for the preparation of overall master schedule identifying key dates for design, procurement, construction and commissioning.

§  Establish and monitor the on-time release of tender documents and requests for proposal; bring to the attention of the Project Director all critical items that have a potential to delay the project.

§  Direct responsibility for preparation of monthly narrative, cost, schedule and financial reports, submission and distribution of same.
Oversee the implementation of the Document Control software proposed for the Project, namely “Constructware”, within the PM team as well as contractors’ and consultants teams. 

§  Ensuring the subordinates/PCS Engineers are aware of, and have a common understanding of, their respective functions and responsibilities.

§  Oversee and review the development of project information and fact sheets and graphical presentation materials as needed by the Project Director.

§  Oversee and review financial and cost reporting forms, development and specific formats for design and construction monitoring purposes including planned versus actual projections and indicated outcome reports.

§  Oversee and monitor PCS support for design and construction schedules and cost analysis, for use at regular and extraordinary coordination meetings and in respect of relevant expediting activities.

§  Along with above works, the PMCS Manager shall be taking care of PCS Engineer(s), IT Manager, Document Control Manager assisted by: Document Controller, Data Entry Clerks and Document Administrator.

§  Reported to the Senior Project Manager and Project Management Control Systems Senior Manager.
