2014 - Currently                       Project Control Manager / Planning Manager – Civil works, infrastructure and MEP.

Main responsibilities: Plan all the process involved in the project (Engineering, procurement, manufacturing, spares, construction, commissioning and maintenance). Cost control, coordination between construction, engineering and procurement departments in EPC Projects (Infrastructures, Railway, Energy, electrical and mechanical and energy installations and singular projects. Adjust WBS, track and draw plans, using specialised planning software (Primavera P6 / MS Project).

Responsible for baseline and project planning control, programming resources and progress monitoring, including information flow, design, procurement, and site works, S-Curves and Earned Value. Optimise the influence of the Programme and project planning in achieving the objectives. To liaise with the Project team, the client, subcontractors, suppliers, third parties and designers on all matters relating to planning, and ensure that they understand the requirements, constraints and risks associated with the Program. Ensuring that the planning meets with the company’s and clients’ specifications and needs.

Understanding what factors drive progress, and advice on actions required to meet the project milestones, incorporate these factors into the programme and ensure that there is an acceptable level of programme risk. To supply any planning outputs required. To advise the client where these influence on their work and programme (that are not in our scope). Assist in the management of change regarding the impact on programmes and progress. Advising which factors and where they are affecting the programme. Provide the planning service for Project procurement, including monthly review of the Procurement schedule and enquiry programmes for Subcontracts.

Inputting progress into the programme to produce the monthly progress reports, including programme activity variance against the Baseline and previous report, SPI, CPI and Earned Value curves. Checking site progress, assimilate progress for activities on the programme that have or should have progressed in the period and present progress to the Client / Project team, and manage any changes required in the programme before issuing the revised programme. Maintain look ahead programmes and advise on implications to both the Client & the Project Team.

Expert in delay analysis specialized to claim and disputes, to survey claim matters and suggest an appropriate strategy, to draft and/or develop a claim document about Delay analysis and to support a Claim Management / Negotiation / Disputes. (Companies:
