I am a Project Planner of profession, based in South Africa and I have 15 years’ experience in Planning and Scheduling. I have worked on several large Construction Projects both locally and internationally. I have experience in a number of construction properties such as fulfilling roles of Artisan, Field Supervisor, Assistant/Site Manager, having obtained experience in Document Control, Material Control, Expediting, Estimation, Quality Control, assisting Contracts Administrators during the Claims Process and completion of Payment Certificates. I bring more to the table than only Planning and Scheduling. My hands-on approach and diversified experience, together with knowledge and skill over the complete spectrum allows for a fresh dimension of expertise.
My Scheduling and Planning experience is inclusive of the Petro-chemical, Power Generation and Mining fields and covers all disciplines from Earthworks through to Control Instrumentation and is supplemented by the Engineering and Procurement process, Cold and hot commissioning and ultimately handing over the project in time. The software I have used, ranged between all versions of Microsoft Projects as well as Primavera. In the last 15 years since 2002 I have focused my career on planning and I truly enjoy the everyday challenges this career path offer. I find being able to influence daily activities and decisions hugely satisfying.
