Born in 25th October 1987 in the District of Minj, Western Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea.

Have Three brothers and One Sister having me the first born in the family.

Did my preschool in 1990. Primary from 1992 to 1999. High School from 2000 to 2003.

Was selected to take Bachelor in Civil Engineering in year 2004 which I did my First Foundation Year.

Completed my study in 2010. Graduated and now employed with the Department of Works.

My Work history is;

Ø  National Works, Roads and Bridge Section, Port Moresby – Design Review of Komo Airport Access Road (14km) in Alignment Design, Longitudinal and Cross - Sectional Review, Road Geometric Design conforming to the standards and other Roads Assets Management. 4th January to 6th March 2010.

Ø  Lamana Development Limited – Construction of New Landmark three (3) storey Department of Lands and Physical Planning Building, Port Moresby. Engaged as trainee civil engineer in taking levels, heights of Columns, levels for flooring joist and bearer, quantity take off, material costing with shop drawings, interpreting measurements from scale of drawings, formwork measurements, supervision in placement of scaffold and propping according to standards, handling and knowing plant, material and equipment. 10th November 2010 to 25th February 2011.

Ø  Lorma Construction Limited – Engaged as a Graduate Civil Engineer on the Highlands Highway Emergency Repair Works; Contract No. 1420345, Road Package R2, R3 and R4. Establish measured formworks, using level for culvert installation, As built quantity measurement, prepare gabion layouts and subsoil pipe layouts, construction design, planning and schedules, prepare daily works report and supervision. 13th June 2011 to 26th October 2011.

Ø  China Railway Construction Group (CRCG) – Steamships Harbour Office Development Port Moresby, Project No. 8183P, six (6) storey building including land reclamation, sheet pilling, bore pilling, marine pilling and boat mooring. Assisting in building setup, doing quantity takeoffs for structure, drafting construction works schedule, assisting in structural shop drawings, taking levels, design reviews, temporary facility setup plan, excavation plan and supervision, marking RL from given bench mark and understanding Chinese construction language on site. 20th May 2012 to 15th January 2013.

Ø  Department of Works – Regional Works Office (Southern/Highlands Region) – Designated as Project Engineer to Oversee and assist Provincial Works Managers in Planning, Writing Reports, Secure Funds through preparing PFDs and Funding Proposal. Assisting in the development & application of  engineering and Standards, systems & processes with particular emphasis on performance improvement and compliance/adherence to procedures. Ensuring tasks are fit for purpose and are completed successfully (accurately, in timely fashion & cost effectively). Developing & maintaining mutual beneficial relationship with clients, employer & mostly for the quality service delivery to the public. Providing design assistance in the identification,  selection & procurement of works or contracts. Meet the requirements of the public through design & documentation, supervision & quality output. Assessing status of Government Infrastructure, Report & monitor in ensuring familiarity with any relevant documents, procedures, contractual requirements & public requirement. Conforming to all Standards Governing the Profession of Civil Engineering. Providing leadership to the department in supporting the Team Leader, Lead Engineers and Supervisors.
