Bernardo Marques

First Name:
Bernardo
Last Name:
Marques

My name is Bernardo Marques and I’ve been always fascinated with learning new things. Curiosity and persistence led me to a Philosophy degree and gave me a new perspective on how to gaze the world and continue to explore different subjects and fields.

While working as a trainer in an IT company in the Healthcare market, I was given the opportunity to start to work in project management in 2010 and I immediately realised that my mission is to develop teams to excel in delivering projects and results in a way that is meaningful for its intended users and exceed their expectations. With creativity, positive energy and a blend of good humour, I love to work with people and be able to deliver quality work and carry forward businesses and their potential growth, adding value to my stakeholders.

During my secondment in several clients (in the UK, Italy and Portugal) implementing IT projects, I’ve developed my skills on how to deliver a project with a collaborative team spirit in mind, through problem solving and designing solutions for resources maximization by waging on definition and structure of processes and methodologies for an optimal customer experience.

In order to continue to grow professionally and be able to deliver the best solution to my stakeholders, I've been pursuing professional training for managers, project management and implementation methodologies using the PMBoK standard, and I'm currently completing a Master in Service Science and Management Engineering.

In 2012 I've co-founded a mobile tech startup and I've been mainly developing it's strategy, operations and project management.
