Last Name:
Walenta

In 1988 I decided to pursue a career in project management, after 14 years in IT.

As an IBM employee, until 2014 I lead large projects in various industries, build and led PMOs and run significant programs. I have seen systems integration, application development, SAP rollouts and outsourcing. Since 2002, I worked with global teams in Japan, India, US and most European countries incl. Russia.

As a PMI volunteer, I build the PMI Frankfurt Chapter from 1998 to 2005, served on the PMI Board of Directors and am a member of the Ethics Review Committee since 2011.

As a lecturer, I do project management classes since 2002 at the University of Darmstadt, since 2006 these were embedded in a MBA curriculum. I also offer these classes to companies on a contract base.

As a interim manager since 2014, I bring my experience and network to solve client situations.
