David Little
I have over 20 years experience with production, supervision and project management and controls. My current areas of specialisation are in project development, performance, analysis, controls and reporting on complex projects and master schedules that include time, facility, budget and resource constraints. My experience has developed through employment within the shipbuilding industry as a project controller from preparation of production work packages to management of the integrated project master schedule. I planned and controlled the work packages for ship repair, maintenance dockings and coordinated the dry dock utilisation to ensure the required availability for shot term maintenance jobs and the new ship build program.
Commencing at the Defence Materiel Organisationin 2003, I developed, maintained and enhanced several project schedules to comply with Defence Materiel Organisation requirements. I developed further the project controls to comply with the Defence Materiel Organisation project performance reporting requirement. I participated in the introduction of the ‘Predict’ risk tool into the Multi Role Helicopter project as a section risk coordinator. I currently develop and maintain DMO Corporate Policy and Procedure for project management and controls while providing subject matter advice on project management and control.
