I have more than 22 years experience in construction including - residential, commercial, industrial, retail and heavy civils. i have been actively involved in more than 50 projects during my career.

I obtained my B.Sc. Building Management degree in 1988 and started work in the construction field as a Site Agent and rapidely moved up to becoming a Contracts Manager running my own projects. In 1993 I move to Botswana where I managed the construction of several large projects. In 1997 I was made a Director and Shareholder of the company where my role was to plan and manage several construction projects. In 2002 the company was sold to one of the largest regional contractors (www.wbho.co.za) and I remained to manage the Botswana division.

In 2006 I was made a Director in the Civil Division where I planned and managed the construction of several large projects including the construction of very large reinforced concrete structures.

When I started my planning and project management career, we had to create and update all our construction scheduled by hand. I then progressed to using CCS Candy Siteplan which was integrated with the CCS Candy estimating software. More recently I have completed projects using Primavera P6 (self taught). I have recently completed two advanced Primavera P6 courses with RPC UK limited.

I have an excellent grasp of construction techniques and methods and have the ability to apply this knowledge to construction schedules and plans. I have also had experience planning and managing projects under the NEC and FIDIC forms of contract. ( I also have experience of JCT, JBCC and BIDP forms of contract)
