• Preparation and Planning of the 6 yearly Sapref Major Turnaround
• Set-up and Maintain a Master Schedule (30,000 activities and 330,00 man hours) with all contractor schedule interface
• Produce the 30% and 10% cost estimates

- Construction of new Eskom SO3 Plant and Re-furbishment of Electrostatic Precipitator Plant for Actom

- Responsible for all the Estimating, Planning and Costing functions of the entire Project

Position: Senior Planner

Functions       

- Planning the maintenance in such a way that optimum plant availability could be achieved at a minimum cost with best use of the available resources as to increase the return of investment of the share holders

- Duties included scheduling the planned repair and replacement     of equipment, budget control and forecasting, stores control and procurement.

- In 2007 promoted to Senior Planner. Main duties were the planning and co-ordination of major shutdowns, erection of new plants (green fields), appointing and controlling of contractors, overseas procurement etc. Controlled daily site meetings reporting to the Core Contracts Manager.
