Last Name:

I am currently working as an Improvement Planner for London Underground. I have a proven record of creating, implementing and co-ordinating detailed plans for major projects within both London Underground and Corus.  A recent Belbin assessment indicated that the roles I am best suited to are those in which I would “do most of the problem solving or be responsible for generating new strategies or ideas and proposing solutions”.  I am conversant with a number of software packages, including Primavera, MS Project, SAP, the MS Office suite and I also have experience of using CAD and RCM software, as well as being trained in lean manufacturing processes.   I am also a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.

Project areas I have worked in are varied and include construction/civils, maintenance, "soft" (finance based) projects, r-furb & fit-out, and transport planning.  I have worked mainly in the steel and rail industries.
