Project Control Engineer

Experience in project control in engineering, construction and procurement of projects, including lump sum projects, in the Oil & Gas sector.

Responsibilities include:

Professional team leader specialized in project control activities as planning, scheduling, cost control and document control. Development of project plans and schedules for tenders and for full-scope contract execution reflecting all stages of functional execution since engineering through project close out. Expertise in master project plan development, also in the adapting of organization tools as work breakdown structure and organization breakdown structure. Also, in charge of cost and planning in EPC proposals. Participate in vendor and contractors bid evaluation and reviews.  Implement suitable procedures for project control and record keeping.  Develop and maintain integrated systems to support project control and project traceability. Develop the cost baseline, report of commitments, cost reporting, cost forecasts, labor contract cost and additional work order cost. Experience in transform the project cost estimate into the project control budget in a measurable and traceable form. Generate progress reports, performance analysis and special contingency reports for management.

Project Control Engineering:

Participation in projects from USD 100 to USD 1200 million, with responsibility for activities like: Project Control manager, Cost Control Manager, Engineering Planner, Construction Planner, along of 20 years, operating in segments business such as:

• Gas Plant Compression Facilities

• Oil Production Facilities;
• Gas and Water Injection Facilities;
• Venezuelan Oil Fields Data Base project;
• Gas Pipe Line 2(36”).
• Petrochemical dock facilities.

Living and working in Japan, Spain, Venezuela and Chile.

Maintenance Engineering:

Preventive Maintenance, Predictive maintenance, Maintenance Procedures and Maintenance Information Systems. Working for a Steel Mill Plant (SIDOR) and a Cement Plant (CONCECA). Living and working in Venezuela.
