Nineteen years’ experience in Project Planning & Management using primarily Primavera P3 and P3e (Versions 5, 6 & 8), as well as being conversant with the use of Powerproject, Sure Trak, Microsoft Project and Excel as planning tools, to create, maintain and progress schedules which typically include;

Design (FEED stage),

Procurement (placing and monitoring of contracts with external contractors),

Construction (Building & Civil),

Mechanical, HVAC & Electrical infrastructure installations,

Plant and Equipment installations and

Commissioning & Hand Over activities as well as de-commissioning and shutdown schedules.

I have been involved in all aspects of construction projects and civil works including;

Demolition, earthworks, land remediation, geotechnical analysis, concrete pours, piling, brickwork / formwork, structural steel, cladding / fireproofing, specialist coatings (floors & ceilings), roofings and minor civil works such as kerbing, road widenings and tarmac. Also extensive experience of the mechanical, electrical and HVAC installations within various industrial new builds as well as the installation of all plant & equipment, and the commissioning of process systems.

I have been responsible for; The production, maintenance and progressing of fully costed, resourced level 4 programmes for the use of Earned Value Analysis reporting, production of S-curves (utilising metrics, manhours and costs), histograms and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to accurately report on project progress and also in the use of critical path analysis to highlight project risks and delays to senior management, typically on a monthly basis but at times more frequently where the project demanded it.

I have also been involved in the maintenance of coding structures, OBS & WBS system administration within Primavera.

I have previously been involved in providing delay analysis to assist in the evaluation of a contractual claim. This included analysis of civil handovers from the client and SI (Site Instruction) work, working in Primavera P6 and Excel to establish compensation events using time impacted methods to formulate an ‘As Built Programme’. Further limited experience of delay analysis and contractual claims utilising FIDIC principals.

I have extensive experience of NEC3 contract project management and have utilised these skills on the Evaporator D Module Fabrication and Gaz De France Gas Storage projects and also the de-commissioning projects for Capenhurst Nuclear Services.
