Trevor Rabey, BEng (Naval Architecture, UNSW 1987), is an engineer, consultant and trainer with extensive Project Management experience. Trevor’s diverse work history spans across a broad range and variety of industries including Ship Building, Engineering, Construction, Mining, Oil and Gas, Defence and IT. Trevor has helped hundreds, perhaps thousands, of people to plan and organise their projects and use their software tools better.

Trevor is a qualified and passionate trainer and has taught Project Management, Critical Path Method and the use of software tools at UNSW, USyd, NSW TAFE, WA TAFE (Challenger), UWA, and Curtin University, and conducted Project Management workshops for the many organizations such as the Master Builders Association WA and the Project Management Institute WA.
Trevor is a member of the Australian Institute of Building (AIB), a member of the Master Builders Association of Western Australia (MBAWA), PMI member and the founder of the Perth Chapter of the MICROSOFT PROJECT Users Group.

Besides project planning, scheduling, progress tracking and controls, Trevor is also interested in the broader spectrum of operations research and all kinds of industrial optimisation. Trevor is currently studying for the Master of Science (Mathematics) degree at Curtin University. At Curtin University the Mathematics Department has two streams, Actuarial and Industrial Optimisation.

Trevor’s other interests include skiing, sailing (member and committee member of the Maylands Yacht Club) and guitar.
