Stephen has over 37 years experience in the construction industry with the majority of this time being spent in the planning and co-ordination of a wide variety of construction projects both in the UK and Middle East. Although much of his experience relates to building works he also has experience of the rail and process engineering industries.

His experience covers a very broad spread of construction projects in Design and Build, Management, Turn-Key and traditional contract forms. This experience has included planning and co-ordination at tender, design and implementation stages. Stephen is familiar with the leading available planning software.

Since the early 1990’s Stephen has worked mainly as a consultant specialising in planning oriented project management and control. Over the last fifteen years his work has been largely focused on time related disputes and he has been appointed as expert on many occasions in respect of Adjudication, Arbitration, Litigation and Mediation. Stephen is presently employed as Divisional Director with Project Planning Limited.

Stephen gained a MSc. in Construction Management, in 1993 and is a member of the APM, an incorporate member of the CIOB as well as a member of the Society of Construction law.

Stephen is the co-author of the book ‘About Time – Delay Analysis in Construction’ published by RICS books.
