- As a Planning manager, I have led a group of planners, in preparing an EPC tender programme for & A$1.5BN Desalination project which includes 2 tunnels of 2.5 km long each. and our consortium was successful in securing the bid.
- Also my experience as a Planning Engineer, includes the time / programme management for construction of the largest urban infrastructure project in Sydney, consist of A$1.5B, 40km long Motorway, with cashless Electronic tolling System (including construction of operational management Center) at its crucial construction phase and achieved major key milestones on time which paved the way for completion of project 8 months ahead of schedule.
- Some of the other salient features of this motorway consist of 120 bridges including 7 major interchanges (flyovers) and two low level Viaducts (one KM long Each), continuous reinforced concrete pavement and separate shared path for other users. Majority of these bridges super-structure consists of PSC segments (each of these box girders weigh up to 100 tons) including balanced cantilever, simply supported with steel truss launching and post tensioned pre-stressed type construction.
- Furthermore I have gained significant experience in construction of Hong Kong new International Airport, which was the largest Civil engineering Project ($US 20B) in the world.
- Also,I have very good experience in using Primavera (P3 & P3E and P6), Sure track-3 and MS Project Software gained over the last 13 years in Planning and control of the diversified Projects consist of over10000 activities (EPC Projects) and its resources apart from using MS Excel and Word software.
- Since May 2011, I am working as a Planning Consultant for Different Clients with a main focus on Preparing Tender Programs and Contract Programs including progress measurement Systems and Resources & Budget Forecast. Major Achievements
· Did Project planning, Scheduling, monitoring and control process of the diversified major construction projects, consist of Transportation (Road & Rail), Gas Pipelines and its Facilities,LNG Processing Plants & Its Utilites( On shore), Oil refinery Maintenance and performance improvement projects, Mining, Tele communications, Power Cabling and sub stations, Water dams and Pipelines, Broad Band network and Industrial Buildings (time bound and complex nature) at all stages, towards its success completion using Primavera Software.
· As a Planning Manager I have led a group of planners in preparing an EPC Tender programme for $1.5Bn Sydney desalination project and we were successful in securing the bid. Also prepared a number of Tender programmes for urban rail and road projects while working with John Holland Group in Australia.
· Responsible for Time/Programme Management of A$ 1.5B (M7- Sydney Motorway) Project at its crucial Construction phase and achieved major milestones on time, which paved the way for completion of the project 8 months ahead of the schedule.
· Did successful planning for construction of 245-Km long onshore Gas Pipeline project along with its facilities (time bound) in Tasmania (Australia). Prepared Level 3 Program for EPC project - 442 KM long 10” dia Gas Pipeline & its facilities at post award stage.
· Incorporating “ Chevron Texaco Project Development and Execution Process”, covering 5 Phases of project life cycles (concept to Commissioning) and Using Primavera P3, MS project and other tools, I have worked on Projects Planning and control area for portfolio of around 250 projects of small to medium scale for Caltex Refiney in Sydney( Australia).
· Did project planning & control of Urban Road Project and also Reconstruction of Baking Furnace Building for Aluminum Smelter Plant Using MS Project and Primavera.
· Managed construction of 20km long railway (Indian Railways) gauge conversion works including bridge works and track works, a head of schedule apart from 30% of profits. Managed construction of 11 towers up to 330ft height and entailing 1500 tons of Structural steel, for Indian railways within schedule time and with 25% profits. Designed and managed in establishment of a giant stone crushing plant of 220-tph capacities, involving structural steel and concrete structures within 80% of the budgeted cost.
· Managed construction of large storm water line, sewage and drainage structures. Also commissioned and handed over more than 800 draw pits and several km of ducting line to Hong Kong Airport authority on schedule
· Managed construction of 20 km long road formation works including drainage works, culverts and retaining walls a head of schedule. Carried out detailed surveying of a new road alignment for 100 km length. Later on geometric road design, design of culverts, retaining walls and drainage works for this project including preparation of estimates and project report.
· Designed 6 concrete highway bridges and managed the construction of a major prestressed concrete bridge a head of schedule. Designed flexible pavements for 20 km long highway. Managed construction of 30 km long high way bituminous works a head of schedule with 25% savings to the organization. Managed road & bridge maintenance works of an important 60-km long highway for 2 years.

Project Brief:
At JV project corpotarate office( Site) level, I had involved in time / programme management of the construction
(Including Design and procurement) of 40 Km long two lane Dual Carriage Motorway and separate Cyclist/shared path) in Sydney.
This is the largest urban infrastructure project in Australia (A$ 1.5 B) consist of 120 bridges including 17 Interchanges. Continuously Reinforced concrete pavements and cashless 100% Electronic tolling System are some of the special features on this project.
Also this project consists of two low level viaducts (nearly 1KM long each). Majority of these bridges were consist of bored cast in-situ concrete piles with pile caps foundation and cast in- situ concrete pier / abutment construction. PC Segments (box Girders) weigh up to 100 ton each were used for Super structure through balanced Cantilever and Simply supported (using Steel launching truss) with “post tensioned prestressed concrete “ construction. Also PC Planks were used for Minor bridges.
Responsibilities / achievements:
I have used Primavera (P3e) and MS Project Software and other tools. My role / responsibilities on this project were:
· Develop / prepare construction programmes / schedules for some of the major sub projects
· to integrate and coordinate Master Project Programme consists of over 10000 activities, progress monitoring, and updating.
· Monitor project ‘actual’ against baseline project schedule and make recommendations on modifications as required to the Planning Manager.
