| Saudi Kayan is building a 5.6 million tpa petrochemical complex. This $12.5 Billion Mega Project is located in Al Jubail Industrial City, the complex is due to become operational during 2011. Products will include ethylene, propylene, polypropylene, ethylene glycol and butane-1. Downstream products will include aminoethanols, aminomethyls, dimethylformamide, choline chloride, dimethylethanol, dimethylethanolamine, ethoxylates, phenol, cumene and polycarbonate. The Project Controls Manager's role comprises the responsibility for maintaining proper project controls, forecasting and reporting for the whole project. He reports directly to the GM and Project Support Department within SABIC's Engineering & Project Management Division throughout the life cycle of the Project. The Project Controls Manager coordinates resources, overall project controls requirements and for general interface/communications issues affecting the overall project and provides proactive management. The complex consists of many projects designed and executed by renowned international organizations under EPC/EPCm contracts. The EPC contractors include such industry leaders such as Fluor, KBR, Samsung, Daelim, Technicas Reunidas and many others. | ||
