I have 20 years of project based experience in the building and civil engineering sectors.  In this time I have planned projects from tender, through design, procurement, construction and commissioning.

Most building projects were complex and highly serviced, such as data centres and new build airport terminals, whereas my civil projects were often time critical possessions, such as motorway reconstruction and rail track civils.

I have managed planning teams and as a project manager, managed every aspect of a particular project.

Following on from this background I have moved into a consulting role and act as a delay expert in various forms of dispute.

My planning experience has been utilised in other industries such as ship building and train manufacture.

I write expert reports for use in adjudication, arbitration, litigation and negotiation.

Over the years, I have used various methods of planning including time/location and line of balance.  More recently my work requires me to use the various delay analysis techniques including Time Impact, As-planned v As-built, As-planned Impacted and Windows. 

I am a professional constructor who has planned and managed projects of all types AND I have gotten my hands dirty on more than one occassion.
