Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All,
First Posting,so please don’t shoot me down.I have searched the Forum for just one successful answer to this issue regarding use of ODBC with P3 3.1 SP3:
" login must succeed before data source entry can be written"
I have the correct versions of Btrieve Engine etc.
The connection to the .ddf files works for a few minutes and then the above problem window pops up about login.
What is the answer?Everyone seems to point you to some web site,but no one seems to have a clear solution.
