Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hey guys I am working on MS Project 2010

I'm setting up a large scale project and wonder if I could assign resources i.e. discipline supervisors to the various summary tasks in my schedule and the units spread out at a granular level yet.

For example if I have set of tasks running in sequence with overall duration of 17d on 8hrs/d and work equals 136hrs

A = 5d

B= 6d

C = 6d

Is there a way to assign this supervisor resource so that the work units (man-hours) could be spread out equally among these tasks

I've tried several methods and still can't find a solution so I thought I'd post it. I simplified a test project to test different ideas and still can't work it.
