MAJOR PROJECT EXPERIENCE

Project:  Australand Victoria – Multiple Projects

 

Position: On-site project planner to bring all current projects on line using Asta Powerproject

 

Responsibilities-

  • Duties included creating statusing programmes over 4 different construction sites (Over 150 Lots)
  • On-site training for site personal with weekly statusing using MS Project.
  • Updating and Re-Scheduling Programmes to reflect actual works
  • Development of a detailed weekly status report, which included mitigation reports to identified risk and what action should be taken to minimise or eliminate risks.
  • Reports where created liaising with the Construction Managers & Development Manager of Built Form.

 

February 2011 – Present – Solid Support Victoria Pty Ltd

 

                Position: Acting State Manager / Consultant.

 

                Responsibilities:

  • Running day-to-day operations of Solid Support Victoria
  • General Marketing / Business Development liaising with both new and old clients

                Project: Building Education Revolution (BER) South Illawarra - NSW

 

                Position: Project Planner

 

                Responsibilities-

  • Duties included a Fortnightly &  Monthly status of the every individual school project, liaising with the foreman and managers to help determine the forecast completion dates using updated constructions programmes (238 Schools in total)
  • Develop a detail weekly & monthly status report, which includes the monthly project progression, delays and forecasting new completion dates.
  • Assess and determine extension of time claims are valid, only time based assessment not cost.

               

August 2010 - November 2010 – Solid Support Pty Ltd

 

Project: Kotara Homemakers Centre – NSW

 

Position: On-Site Project Planner

 

                Responsibilities: -

  • Duties included a weekly status of the project via weekly on-site meetings, liaising with the forman, managers and sub-contractors to help determine the forecast programme and any issues that have or will arise, and updating the contract and construction programme to completion.

 

February 2008 – July 2008 – Broad Constructions Newcastle

 

Position: Construction Cadet / Planner

 

Responsibilities –

  • Manage drawings and documents and general filing
  • Assist Project Managers with various tasks
  • Contracts Administration
  • Report to Project Manager
  • Update drawing sticks to ensure latest issues of drawings are used at all times
  • Photocopy drawings
  • Measure off drawings for quantities of various materials
  • Creation of Punch List & Site Photography
  • Set up contracts, process variations and update subcontract contract values
  • Update fortnightly programmes
