·   Responsible for setting up the Planning Department in Muscat and synchronizing the procedures with the Head Office in UK.

·   Producing design office resource charts showing current and projected work loads and updating the overall design office program.

·   Generating cost reports on a monthly basis for all the active jobs in the design office and forecasting the cost to complete all the jobs. 

·   Performing 3 to 4 Internal Audits based on Company Quality Procedures.

.    Conducting In-house training for Project Management tools like Primavera and Excel.

Lead Planner on the Asian Beach Games

 

The project is about 100 Hectares of land being developed at Wudam Al Sahil near Muscat to host the 2010 Asian Beach Games. The development comprises a mixture of temporary and permanent facilities such as a three hotel for media and guests, an athletes village, administration building, press and media centre, restaurants and recreational facilities, site wide infrastructure including a marina to berth about 400 vessels and adequate parking facilities.

Project Specific Duties include

 

·         Was the lead planner responsible from the bid stage in preparing the tentative design program to reviewing the contractor and sub contractor programs during execution.

·         Coordinated amongst the various entities within Atkins carrying out the design.

·         Preparing Internal Task Orders and ensuring design is done within budget

Presentation of the project progress to client and other stakeholders during progress meetings.
