     Project manager of a trial of edms software. Coordinating the testing and responses of various design teams using the new software package.

     Produced MS Project strategic schedule for an offshore wind farm.

Project : - Container Terminal 9 Development (6 berth marine container terminal), contract value HK$4 Billion, role - Senior Programmer
     Reviewed and approved Contract schedule, progress reporting, resource and cash flow analysis, critical path and delay forecasting.
     Reviewed and approved Extension of time (EOT) claims.
     Review of mitigation measures.
     Chaired construction planning and coordination meetings with the Main Contractor to assist with delay mitigation and liaised with the local authority on Programme matters.

     Production of the Works Programme, piling programmes and sequences.
     Production and coordination of monthly progress submissions. EOT assessment and presentation.

Project: - Construction of new air cargo terminal at Hong Kong International Airport, value HK$8.3 Billion, Role: - Resident Engineer (Planning & Coordination)
     Programme and progress analysis for three contracts (2 mechanical and 1 Building construction).
     Progress monitoring and reporting to the Project Manager.
     Coordination of individual work packages such as boardroom and communications rooms.

Sept 1995 to Sept 1996, Kumagai, Maeda, CRABC Joint Venture (Main Contractor)
Project: -West Kowloon Expressway North, Hong Kong – (elevated three lane expressway) Role: - Planning Engineer
     Development and maintenance of the Works Programme liasing with sub contractors.
     EOT assessment and presentation in conjunction with the quantity surveying staff.
     Progress monitoring & reporting.

April 1995 to Sept 1995, Montgomery Watson, Hong Kong
Project: - Strategic Sewage Disposal Scheme (Upgrading of 7 existing Sewage Treatment Works) Role: - Assistant Resident Engineer
     Supervision of the construction of reinforced concrete water retaining structures, checking designs and method statements for piling, reinforced concrete structures and coordinating structural and E & M details.
     Progress monitoring & reporting.

Oct 1991 to April 1995, Hydro Research and Development (H.R.D.) - specialists in the design of systems for fluid flow control and effluent treatment. Role: - Projects Engineer.
     Project design and coordination of H.R.D. systems from initial enquiry to site installation. Market research and technical presentations to Hong Kong Government departments, engineering companies and engineering institutions.

May 1988 - Oct 1991, Acer Roughton and Fenton, Consulting Engineers, England
Role: - Resident Engineer - Liaison with Contractors and the Client and supervision of the site investigation and installation of CFA piles, reinforced concrete ground beams and retaining walls. Co-ordination of utilities and local government work with site works.
Role: - Design Engineer -Design of structures in reinforced concrete, steel, timber and masonry for new and refurbished structures. Production of contract documents and design coordination with Architects and Contractors.

Sept 1986 - May 1988, Peter Brett Associates, Consulting Engineers, England
Role: - Resident Engineer - Site supervision of construction of a 7 storey steel frame and composite steel/concrete floors and reporting on progress and quality of the works.
Role: - Design Engineer - Design of flood relief schemes including flood analyses, flood storage design and drainage network analysis.

Sept 1985-Sept 1986, Dorset County Council, England
Role: - Assistant Resident Engineer - Monitoring and supervision of progress and quality of the works. Checking setting out of roads, drainage and structures. I also assisted in measurement and checking of monthly payment certificates.
