Senior Planning Engineer with the responsibility to develop CPM schedules, preparing Budgets and generated cash flow, weekly and monthly schedules in support of various Engineering & Construction projects. Create ad hoc schedules and updates based on construction sequence and methodology, review schedules for contract compliance, and prepare schedules for design efforts. Estimating support including product research, quote requests, quantity take-offs, assembly pricing exercises, design stage document review, and development of estimating resources. Monitored, and recorded delays for claims due to disruption, prolongation, acceleration, and extension of time.
Duties
•Plan and schedule all activities within the base project and integrate a master program schedule.
Supervise and analyze the plans for the whole work to be sure the work tasks are in accordance with the planned.
•Plan and provide work direction as required to give Engineering and Construction supervisors means to evaluate and improve the efficiency of their project execution.
•Provide staff guidance of planning and scheduling expertise by analyzing and evaluating all pertinent data.
•Review and check that reports and data developed are in accordance with established methods and requirements.
•Discuss, coordinate and resolves long term and short term planning and scheduling problems with personnel throughout the Company and with contractor organizations.
•Assist in the technical evaluation of contracts relative to their expertise in planning and scheduling.
•Provide staff assistance in the preparation of reports, procedures and services in both weekly and monthly basis.
•Perform earned value analysis to predict a more accurate cost at completion.
•Review and evaluate the effectiveness of planning and scheduling information collected from project teams or Contractors and advises of significant exceptions to proposed and recommends corrective actions.
•Closely coordinating with site planners for smooth and successful execution of works.
•Record all projects variations (VOR) and study their impact on the project cost and time.
•Prepare and discuss all Extension of Time claims (EOT).
•Successfully setting-up of Progress Monitoring System including implementation of Time Impact Analysis window analysis technique.
•Effectively monitoring plant utilization for all projects and preparing Project Status Report, Time Impact Schedule / Delay Analysis, etc.
•Reviewing contracts and advising on risks, preparation of variation order and delay claims, proving and pricing of various claims
Achievements
•Preparing the master & detailed program and the different manpower and cash flow histograms for "Gate Towers- Shams Abu Dhabi" which worth 3.3 Billion AED.
•Helping the site team of a new residential complex project that accommodate approximately (16,000) workers at Al Ain Industrial City to be entitled for 7 months as a time impact claim.
