     Defining project objectives and plans, including delineation of scope, budgeting, scheduling, setting
performance requirements and assigning field-specialists
     Analyzing schedules (baseline and recovery programs) and creating a schematic layout in view of key quantifiable parameters encompassing - estimation of takeoff costs, reviewing project constructability, sub-contracting requirements, project profitability and man-hour estimates.
     Monitoring, managing and directing the assigned project resources to over come “triple constraints” project scope, time and cost.
     Researching applicable technical logistics for proposed project bids, creating detailed costing and feasibility reports for corresponding projects
     Organizing, directing, and evaluating purchase activities, maintaining uninterrupted flow of materials to support project schedules
     Coordinating with the construction managers, contractors, design teams and consultants, observing a policy of open communication to reduce risk significantly
     Collecting metrics data (such as baseline, actual values for costs, schedule, work in progress, and work completed) and reports on project progress and other project specific information, to take curative actions in case of variance
     Negotiating long term agreements, maintaining competitive pricing, leading to yearly cost reduction activities, monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance
     Drafting tenders for various services and products, evaluating responses and recommending vendors/contractors
     Sourcing engineering firms and maintaining accountability for managing assignments for team members according to performance standards and ensuring compliance
     Ensuring satisfactory hand-over to project management department and undertaking post project responsibilities
     Ascertaining effective plant operational performance and compliance with permissible safety standards and requisite regulations
